PROJECT MANAGER POSITION

Position reference: egypm

 egydoc.com (Egypt's Medical Portal) is seeking an individual to assume general oversight for all aspects of an underlying online project, as in development, implementation and management of policies, procedures and project targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and executes project work plans.

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project.

  • Manages project budget.

  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue and margins.

  • Client Management.

  • Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities.

  • Keeping schedules and fulfilling project goals in planned quality and quantity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree with a Medical/Scientific Background.

  • Direct experience with online information and database handling.

  • 1-2 years project management experience preferred.

  • Certified experience in managing projects, preferably in the field of online portals and websites.

  • Experience and familiarity with the information technology backgrounds and concepts, and the ability to become quickly acquainted with the relevant subject matter on your own.

  • A high degree of independence, initiative and responsibility, an above average talent for organization and communication.

  • Business fluent English and Arabic.

 

MEDICAL WRITER POSITION

Position reference: MW001

As a result of the launch of the first phase of egydoc.com "Egypt's Medical Portal", we need a senior Medical writers with a minimum of three years experience to work onsite our office located in Heliopolis, Cairo. In this lead role, you will develop medical copy (from inception through to final approval) for detail aids, advertisements, clinical pieces and other medical material. You will report to the site Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing science copy that sells
  • Creating copy that is scientifically and medically accurate, that delivers brand strategies and meets regulatory/client guidelines
  • Working cooperatively with the Sales team
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations
Requirements:

  • A strong scientific background, preferably with pharmaceutical / medical industry experience
  • Ability to interpret medical literature
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills on all levels
  • Ability to work in a wide range of therapeutic areas
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • High proficiency with MS Word, Internet Explorer and generally computer literate
  • Previous pharmaceutical advertising experience is an asset, but not a must
  •
